Summary: So far, various experiences in recognising and preventing the sudden death have been obtained mainly through an early recognising of persons at risk, as well as through prompt recently developed therapy treatment in the early clinical (prehospital) phase. The subject of this study is the author's personal experience in the treatment of patients with hypovolaemic shock followed by cardiac arrest in out-patient conditions. The CPR procedures and documented ECG developments in the course of the treatment have been shown in the study.
Key words: Ventricular fibrillation, cardiac arrest, DC shock, therapy, outpatient conditions
