| Summary: Contemporary methods for diagnosis and differential diagnosis of hyperthyroid syndrome are presented. Special attention is applied to the problem of the origin of increased thyroid hormones level. The position of radionuclide tests in diagnostic algorithms is defined. Some recent methods for management of thyroid ophthalmopathy, are discussed.
