Immunotherapy of Allergic Diseases

  Summary:
Allergen specific immunotherapy (ASIT) is for now the only etiological way of treating allergic diseases. The predictive mehanism of action of this therapy is changing the balance between T helper cells (TH1/TH2) favorising TH1 cells. Allergen specific IgE, IgG as well as ECP are in vitro parameters that are follow up during ASIT. In present, sublingual way of application during ASIT is slightly in advance comparing to subcutaneous way of application.
